Provides Total Rewards consultancy services to internal customers with a focus on prescription benefit programs. This role performs intermediate-level analysis and research, develops and delivers communication materials, and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The position supports high-volume, time-sensitive projects and helps solve moderate-to-complex Total Rewards challenges.
What You Will Do:
- Administer Total Rewards programs while serving as a key resource for internal customers and external vendors
- Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support program delivery and issue resolution
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support business and talent-related challenges
- Participate in Total Rewards projects, collaborating with consultants and cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with Total Rewards policies and maintain accurate employee data
- Support benefits administration, including counseling employees on benefits-related questions
- Assist in implementing benefits programs and resolving routine issues related to plans and coverage
What You Have (Basic Requirements):
- Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience desired
- Analytical Thinking:
- Ability to define problems, compare solutions, and draw logical conclusions
- Experience identifying data patterns using charts, diagrams, or reporting tools
- Ability to evaluate key factors and stakeholders impacting business situations
- Effective Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, and external healthcare providers
- Skilled at delivering constructive feedback and adapting communication style to the audience
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building skills and adaptability in different situations
- Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate differing perspectives
- Benefits Administration Knowledge:
- Understanding of employee benefits programs and administration processes
- Experience assisting employees with benefits-related questions and issues
- Ability to support implementation and ongoing administration of benefits programs
What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a high-volume, time-sensitive Total Rewards or benefits environment
- Experience supporting prescription benefit programs or healthcare-related benefits
- Prior experience working with external vendors or consultants
- Strong analytical or data visualization skills
Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
