Opportunity to shape the future of payments!As a Vice President within Partnership Development, Corporate Development & Partnerships you will source, cultivate and maintain new partnerships in order to accelerate JP Morgan Payments' product strategy, grow our business and drive innovation in our payments and commerce ecosystem. Initial focus will be on developing, managing and onboarding new partnerships in within our merchant services line of business.
Job responsibilities
- Source, develop and maintain partnerships to advance our product strategy, grow our business and drive innovation
- Contribute to building a strong pipeline of potential third party opportunities
- Lead partner engagement collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sourcing, Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Technology, Legal and other Partner-focused teams
- Create, negotiate and execute commercial terms
- Own business case development, including opportunity sizing and budgeting
- Drive delivery and results in line with business goals, including ensuring appropriate technical integrations along with operational and go to market plans
- Establish and maintain a strong controls environment for new partner development
- Contribute to building best practices and strong relationships across the JP Morgan Payments partnership community
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- 5+ years of experience within the payments industry
- Experience developing product partnerships with proven ability to cultivate and manage relationships
- Solid commercial acumen and experience in partnership deals
- Solid knowledge and relationships across merchant acquiring and payments businesses
- Solid proficiency in payments product and technology
- Ability to work effectively across the JP Morgan Payments Business, including client facing teams, product, field strategy, operations, legal and IT
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
