Description
Joining our Advisor Training Program means you will be joining a team committed to building client relationships and making meaningful contributions to our business with customized wealth management solutions. You'll work with a team of bankers, investment specialists, wealth advisors, and lending specialists. Throughout the program, you'll learn about our business and our clients while building your own expertise. You'll have what you need to succeed - from training and mentorship from senior leaders to projects that engage all your skills.As a Lending Advisory Analyst in Wealth Management, you will provide day-to-day analytical and execution support to a team of Lending Advisors serving Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) clients across Asia. You will help deliver customized credit solutions by preparing deal analytics and materials, coordinating the credit process end-to-end with internal partners (e.g., Credit Risk, Lending Operations, Legal), and maintaining strong risk, control, and documentation discipline. You'll gain exposure to every facet of wealth management, including investments, lending, banking, and trust and estate planning. As a future Advisor you'll work with our team of advisors and specialists to bring in new clients and to serve existing ones. We deliver highly customized and comprehensive solutions to help protect, manage and grow wealth. No client has identical goals, so understanding their unique needs and tailoring our approach to exceed expectations requires work across teams and the firm to provide first-class service.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare client-ready and management-ready materials (term summaries, deal comparisons, pipeline updates, presentations).
- Perform scenario/sensitivity analysis to support deal structuring and decision-making.
- Support execution of new loans, renewals, amendments, and periodic credit reviews by coordinating inputs, tracking approvals, and driving follow-ups.
- Manage requests and documentation for credit packages (e.g., credit documents, client financial information/PFS where applicable)
- Assist Lending Advisors with pre-meeting preparation (analytics, materials, agendas) and post-meeting actions (minutes, next steps, documentation).
- Track and support management of covenants, exceptions, conditions, and key deliverables through the lifecycle of the credit.
- Support collateral monitoring and margin/eligibility-related communications to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify, escalate, and resolve issues while adhering to all risk and control policies and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Less than 1 year of experience (or relevant internships) in banking, credit, wealth management, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with financial information and produce clear, accurate outputs.
- Excellent organization and prioritization; ability to manage multiple concurrent requests with strong follow-through.
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential client information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced Excel (analysis, scenario work, clean outputs) and strong PowerPoint (structured, polished materials).
- Interest in financial markets and credit fundamentals; willingness to learn UHNW client lending and internal processes quickly.
- English fluency required
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Academic background in finance, economics, business, engineering, or quantitative disciplines preferred
- Asian language skills (e.g., Mandarin/Cantonese) preferred given Asia UHNW client coverage.
