Description
Job Summary:In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients and originate new opportunities with a focus on Equity Long/Short Hedge Funds. Responsibilities include mapping the client landscape, leading deal teams, institutionalizing pitches, and serving as the primary contact for PFS relationships. You will maximize revenue with existing clients and cultivate new client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map the client landscape, including wallet size, market share, competitors, and growth opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Lead deal teams for strategic bid processes, leveraging firm-wide resources
- Serve as the key commercial contact post-mandate award
- Grow wallet share and maximize revenue with existing clients
- Collaborate closely with Capital Advisory, Data, Cash Equity and Equity Derivatives Sales to deliver a holistic offering aligned with client needs
- Independently manage prospective client deals through the full sales cycle
- Work cross-functionally across Lines of Business to deliver integrated client solutions
- Identify innovative solutions to meet client needs while managing risk
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Prime Finance and Clearing
- Experience working with Hedge Fund and Alternative clients
- Team-oriented with excellent relationship-building skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Skilled at navigating the bank and collaborating across Lines of Business
- Detail-oriented with effective time management and multitasking abilities
- Innovative problem-solving skills with a focus on risk management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive revenue growth
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience leading deal teams in bid processes
- Proven track record of acquiring and growing Hedge Fund and Alternative client relationships
- Adaptability to evolving market structures and client needs
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence as assessed by the Firm and, where appropriate, approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
