The New Member Acquisition team is a face-paced organization and a significant driver of new Consumer Card members into the American Express franchise.  The team is dedicated to delivering best in class digital marketing and card shopping experiences with the goal of growing new accounts and spend acquired. New Member Acquisition oversees marketing channels such as Paid Search, Affiliate Marketing, and Display Media that drive direct conversions as well as qualified traffic to the Personal Cards shopping experience of Americanexpress.com. and convert on new accounts.

The Analyst/Sr. Analyst of Affiliate Marketing will play a critical role in running the operations, creative development & execution for Affiliate Marketing – the largest and fastest growing channel in offsite digital. This is a great opportunity for candidates who want to strengthen their digital marketing skills and gain external partner management experience. It provides a chance to be at the forefront of digital growth & innovation, working with a collaborative team and strong group of external affiliate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owner of channel forecasting & reconciliation, and leading channel performance deliverables and meetings

  • Lead channel budget management and driving channel efficiencies, including invoice processing

  • Partner closely with finance & analytics teams to build analytical narratives on channel performance and make recommendations on strategy optimization

  • Manage and nurture day to day Affiliate partner relationships and identify opportunities to drive towards budget targets and acquisition goals while executing strategic deliverables

  • Provide ad hoc assistance with Affiliate projects



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills

  • Project management experience with a proficiency in Excel

  • Self-starter with an ability to navigate the organization and processes independently

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and influence partners to drive results

  • Energetic, positive, self-motivated, and proactive

  • Team player with a willingness to help with projects beyond immediate job scope

  • Great communicator with a passion for creative problem-solving

  • Experience in digital marketing and/or agency management a plus

  • Affiliate experience or in a highly regulated industry is a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree
