Your Contribution at AIG

As a part of AIG Investments, AIG Credit Management (ACM) currently manages $3 billion of syndicated leveraged loan investments as part of 6 CLO portfolios and is expanding its capabilities to further invest across the loan universe. As Senior Operations Analyst, you will serve as an integral part of the Portfolio Operations team, mainly assisting with compliance and loan settlements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily position, cash, and loan attribute reconciliations
  • Daily review / analysis of compliance metrics on multiple portfolios
  • Hypothetical trade testing, asset approvals and trading plans
  • Loan tape modeling
  • Portfolio cash flow monitoring and forecasting
  • Assist with loan settlements process and borrowing requests
  • Reconciliation of monthly trustee reports and waterfall calculations
  • Ad hoc analysis / reporting for Portfolio Managers


What We Are Looking For

  • Understanding of CLO / Warehouse structures and guidelines is necessary for running compliance to approve prospective trades. The candidate must possess a good understanding of each deal and fund structure in order to properly perform compliance operations. The candidate must also understand the syndicated loan settlement process and tie-out processes
  • Five years or more of relevant experience in asset management /CLOs /Buy-side
  • Reconciliation of discrepancies between daily and monthly reports provided by different parties (i.e. internal accounting, Trustee reports, and compliance programs). These reports need to be reconciled and differences resolved with each party
  • Ability to build out compliance tests from deal documents into excel for internal tracking.
  • Experience with WSO Compliance/WSO Web/ClearPar systems preferred
  • 4-year College degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal and analytical skills
