The Marriott International HQ Fellowship/Internship Program offers graduate-level and MBA internships in a variety of departments atMarriott International’s Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.

The hourly pay rate for this position is$32.00.

Fellowship/Internships are available in multiple areas. You will be asked to select your top preferences, so we can learn more about your interests. There may or may not be projects available in all disciplines.

HQ Fellowship/Internship Experience
Fellows/Interns will be immersed into an innovative learning environment where they can build skills and gain exposure to the exciting world of hospitality, through:
Meaningful, high priority projects
On-the-job training, coaching & support
Collaboration and networking within your cohort of HQ Fellows on Marriott’s internal social media platform
Meet and network with Marriott leaders through the Executive Leadership Speaker Series
Department-specific activities
Program specific events, including: an immersive orientation, hotel tour experience, a business challenge, personal growth seminars, networking opportunities, opportunities to meet with senior leaders, and more!
Minimum Qualifications
Must be available to start on the cohort start date:
June 3(cohort start date)
Must be available to attend orientation in-person at our HQ located in Bethesda, Maryland June 3-4.
Candidate must be currently enrolled in a graduate-level degree program at the start of the program.
Previous work/volunteer experience or relevant coursework in identified area(s) of interest
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work in group settings and/or independently
Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects
Demonstrates problem-solving skills
Demonstrates creativity and innovation
Responsibilities & Requirements
Follow all company and safety & security policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Actively listen and respond positively to customer or client questions, concerns, and requests to resolve issues, delight and build trust. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors/Managers.
